Resources

These are the tools I use and the resources I send clients to most often. Nothing here is hypothetical — if it's on this page, it's earned its spot in my actual workflow.

A heads up: a couple of these are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission (and you may get a discount) if you sign up through them. I only recommend tools I actually use and trust — affiliate or not.

🛠 Tools I Use & Recommend

QBO logo.png

QuickBooks Online — Where the magic (and sometimes the mess) happens. It's my platform of choice and where I’m Advanced Certified. If you're QBO-curious or already in and not quite sure what you’re looking at, I can help.

Gusto Payroll (Affiliate) — Payroll that doesn't make you want to throw your laptop. Easy to set up, easy to run, and it plays nicely with QBO. As a Gusto Partner, I can help you get started — and you might score a discount or extra free month while you're at it.

Relay Financial (Affiliate) — Not your average bank. Multiple accounts, no fees, and built so you can actually see where your money's going (and where it isn't). I recommend it to clients who want real cashflow clarity — and who are ready to ditch the spreadsheet juggling act.

📚 Helpful Resources

Form W-9 — The little form that saves you a January headache. Get one from every contractor before you pay them $600+, and your future self will thank you come 1099 season.

SCORE — Free mentorship and workshops for small business owners, run by retired execs and entrepreneurs. A great option if you're earlier in your business or want a sounding board outside the financial side.

IRS: Small Businesses — Not exciting, but essential. Tax deadlines, forms, and official guidance straight from the source. Bookmark it now, thank me later.
